What is Erasmus+?

The Erasmus+ Programme aims to improve individuals' knowledge, skills, and competencies, support their personal and professional development, and strengthen international cooperation between institutions.

A comprehensive program ranging from training to corporate collaboration.

The Erasmus+ Program supports individuals in acquiring new skills, strengthening their personal development, and increasing their employment opportunities, regardless of their age and educational background.

Within the scope of the program, youth activities such as studying abroad, internships, training, teaching, professional development, and non-formal learning can be carried out.

Erasmus+ also supports project and cooperation activities between higher education institutions, educational organizations, public institutions, private sector organizations and civil society organizations.

Current announcements, application requirements, and mobility procedures in the field of higher education for our university students and staff are managed by the Erasmus+ Institutional Coordination Office.

Program Areas

What areas does Erasmus+ cover?

The Erasmus+ Program supports individual mobility and institutional cooperation activities in the fields of education, youth, and sport.

Education and Training

Student and staff mobility, activities in vocational training, adult education, school education and higher education.

Youth

Initiatives that support active youth participation, cross-cultural learning, volunteering, and non-formal learning-based activities.

Sport

Activities focused on collaboration in the field of sports, inclusion, healthy living, volunteerism, and the development of best practices.

Program Structure

Main Actions

Activities supported under the Erasmus+ Programme are grouped under three Main Actions and one Special Action.

KA1

Individual Learning Mobility

It supports students, staff, youth and youth workers in pursuing education, training, internships, teaching or professional development activities abroad.

KA2

Cooperation Between Institutions and Organizations

It supports the implementation of joint projects, innovative practices, strategic partnerships, and institutional capacity-building activities in the fields of education, youth, and sports.

KA3

Support for Policy Development and Cooperation

It supports the development of education and youth policies, policy dialogue, research, and cooperation among relevant institutions.

Special Operation

Jean Monnet Activities

It supports the development of teaching, learning, research and policy discussions related to the European Union within academic institutions.
