Mevlana Exchange Programme

The Mevlana Exchange Program is an exchange program that aims to develop academic cooperation between higher education institutions, provide experience in different educational environments, and increase international academic interaction.

The Main Objective of the Coordination Office

The main objective of the Coordination Office is to ensure that student and faculty mobility activities carried out within the scope of the Mevlana Exchange Program are conducted in accordance with the program rules, relevant legislation, institutional decisions, and signed exchange protocols.

Within this framework, the program's announcement, application, evaluation, selection, placement, academic recognition, certification, monitoring, reporting, and archiving processes are coordinated in collaboration with relevant academic and administrative units.

Application and mobility procedures for the program are carried out within the framework of official announcements published during the relevant period and current regulations put into effect by the competent authorities.
Types of Mobility

Scope of the Program

The main areas of mobility and institutional cooperation within the Mevlana Exchange Program are listed below.

Outgoing Student Mobility

This covers the procedures for students enrolled at our university to study for a specific period at higher education institutions abroad with which we have signed exchange protocols.

Incoming Student Mobility

This covers the admission, registration, course selection, and academic processes for students coming to our University from partner higher education institutions abroad.

Faculty Mobility

This covers the procedures related to teaching staff conducting academic activities and teaching programs at partner higher education institutions.

Exchange Protocols

This includes the preparation of protocols between our university and higher education institutions abroad, defining the academic fields and quotas within the program.

Tasks of the Coordinator

Key tasks include ensuring that processes related to the Mevlana Exchange Program are conducted in an orderly, transparent, and legally compliant manner throughout the University.

Preparing program announcements

It prepares student and faculty mobility announcements that include application requirements, quotas, evaluation criteria, dates, and required documents.

Application and evaluation processes

It ensures that applications to the program are checked for format and documentation, and that the evaluation and selection processes are carried out in cooperation with the relevant committees.

Execution of exchange protocols

It coordinates the preparation, signing, monitoring, and updating of protocols related to collaborations with higher education institutions abroad.

Execution of participant procedures

It monitors the acceptance, nomination, document preparation, correspondence, pre-mobility and post-mobility processes of the eligible participants.

Application Process

From Application to Completion of Mobility

If an announcement is published within the scope of the program, the mobility process generally consists of the following stages. Specific provisions stated in the announcement text are reserved.

Phase 1

Advertisement and Application

The quotas, application requirements, evaluation criteria, and schedule will be announced.

Phase 2

Evaluation

Applications are reviewed and placement procedures are carried out in accordance with the terms of the announcement.

Stage 3

Certification

Acceptance, learning or training protocol and other mobility documents are prepared.

Stage 4

Mobility

The participant carries out the activity between the dates specified by the higher education institution that accepts the activity.

Stage 5

Recognition and Closing

Post-activity documents are submitted; recognition, reporting, and file closing processes are completed.

The required documents may vary depending on the type of mobility and the relevant announcement provisions. The document list specified in the announcement text will be taken as the basis.

Application Documents

Application form, student or staff certificate, and supporting documents requested in the advertisement.

Foreign Language Certificate
